What size is a king size ?

For quilts and quilt covers, Australian standard defines king size is 240x210cm. It is second largest size for quilts in this country. Instead, King size in New Zealand is slightly larger which is 245x210cm . Some brands of quilt covers sell 245cmx210cm as king size in Australia too , because it has very littel actual difference to 240cm standard and doesn't affect actual use and feel. 5cm offset can be ingore due to fabric shinkage.
